V. Candidate Forum for State House 54 – Primary May 20

Democrat:

Independent:

  • Bill Bozarth (Unlike the other candidates, Bill will not participate in the primary)

Republican:

  • Beth Beskin
  • John J. McCloskey
  • Loretta A. Lepore
  • S. Angelic Moore (Invited but did not participate)

Six candidates are running for the State House District 54 Seat. That district has been occupied by Ed Lindsey, who is running in the Republican primary for Georgia’s 11th Congressional District.  All were given time to introduce themselves, answer questions asked by Tom Tidwell and by members of the audience and make closing statements.  The forum lasted almost an hour and forty minutes. The discussions with candidates and their responses to the Q&A session were polite and informative. We really appreciated the opportunity to get to know them better.
